Maths Curriculum
Our maths curriculum builds strong number fluency, problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence across KS2 and KS3. In KS2, pupils secure key foundations such as place value, written and mental calculation, fractions, decimals, percentages, shape, measurement and early algebraic thinking. They learn to reason, spot patterns and apply methods to real-life problems.
As pupils move into KS3, they deepen their understanding of number, algebra, geometry and statistics. They work with equations, sequences, graphs, ratio, probability, area and volume, developing the ability to think logically and explain their reasoning with increasing precision. The curriculum is sequenced to ensure pupils build on prior learning and are well prepared for the demands of GCSE mathematics.
